Llanfair Kilgeddin War Memorial

I was commissioned to make a memorial to the men of Llanfair Kilgeddin Parish who died in World War Two, to be erected in St Mary the Virgin Church. As the church is a Grade 1 Listed Building, the memorial had to be an exact replica (other than the inscription) of the existing World War One memorial already displayed in the church. This memorial dates from the 1920s.

I took a mould of the carved elements of the original which I then copied in stone back at my workshop.
